Read Part 1 : Notre-Dame-de-Paris-Part-1
There is a free concert every Saturday from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The pipe organ of the cathedral of Paris, originally created by organbuilder Cavaillé-Coll in 1730, is the largest in France with 5 keyboards in 113 sets.
Its power is monumental and it is difficult to remain insensitive to the amplitude, depth, eclecticism, and beauty of the instrument that offers incredible possibilities and transcends all repertoires.
Hearing a concert at Notre-Dame de Paris is an exceptional and unforgettable experience.
The treasure of the cathedral is presented in the sacristy. The most emblematic pieces of the treasure are the reliquaries of the Holy Crown of Thorns, of a fragment of the Cross of Christ, as well as a nail from it. The Crown of Thorns and the fragment of the Cross were acquired by Saint Louis respectively in 1239 and 1241 at the cost of a huge fortune.
Open Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm; Saturday from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm; Sunday from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Full price: 4 € Reduced price: 2 €
The Archaeological crypt of the Ile de la Cité is located under the forecourt of the Notre-Dame cathedral and the entrance is at the front of the forecourt.

The visit also includes an exhibition that currently presents a selection of ancient coins bearing the image of historical figures who have transformed the destiny of the city, in connection with the remains preserved in the Crypt.
