Le Salon des Manufactures – Alain Ducasse

This brand-new restaurant with an exceptional price-quality ratio can be found in the midst of the beautiful Palais Royal district, located a kilometer away from the Relais du Louvre.

The restaurant is on the second floor of 3-star chef Alain Ducasse’s chocolaterie. You have to go inside and up the stairs to be seated in a cosy, neo-romantic decorated room.

3 gorgeous, 18^th century Venetian chandeliers as well as Alain Ducasse’s prestigious 19^th and 20^th century porcelain and goldsmith collection are to be admired every step of the way.

Alessandro Lucassino is the restaurant’s chef. He has been working as a sous-chef at 3-star the Plaza Athénée restaurant alongside Alain Ducasse since 2018. His menu has been tested, retested, critiqued, and enriched by Alain Ducasse and their team.

The table setting is pleasant, with paper napkins and antiquated silverware. The tableware follows the romantic theme.

The menu is short and reasonably-prices: €12-€13 for an entrée, €15-€18 for a dish, and €10-€15 for a dessert.

Everything we tasted was perfectly made, a refined, well-balanced mix of complex flavors.

We were served by Caroline, who was as quick and attentive as she was kind and cultured, which is quite a rare mix of qualities these days.

This is, without a doubt, a restaurant that must not be looked over.
