Here’s a beautiful address which lovers of decoration and also the the Italian versus trattoria cuisine will appreciate. Open since mid-April under the former flagship of Jean-Paul Gautier, this is the place of which all the trendy Parisians speak right now.
We’ll start with the faults: the place is crowded and noisy. We advise you to book around noon, and in all cases at the beginning of service. That said, let’s move onto good points: It’s beautiful and it’s delicious!
The Daroco one of those places where the decor definitely works. Directed by architects Olivier Delannoy & Francesca Errico, everything has been designed and polished. Since a picture is worth 1000 words, judge yourselves the rooms:
As for the menu, it is also a good point that I will talk about.
Antipasti from 10 to 17 €, with an excellent burrata, but also among other langoustine tartare, foie gras ice cream, shiso, 17 € (it makes you want to come back)
The meal cost 44€.
A creative menu with products of excellent quality and, of course, a production house. It is not cheap but in the end, the prices are related to product quality and the exceptional place.
To find and follow.
